Covid-19 Update 1/03/2021

• We are allowed livery access; all liveries must arrange timeslots with the yard before arriving. All sessions will be supervised for your health and safety.
• We can now offer lessons in a restricted way in order to still conform to national requirements to protect both parties.
• Only private lessons or semi private from the same household.
• We will only accept lessons from competent riders who are able to ride without assistance. If assistance is needed with stirrups or girth the instructor will wear a facemask.
• No riding school clients will be allowed in the stables at this time, your horse will meet you and instructor at the arena.
• We will only be accepting bookings from clients who have been observing strict social distancing, are non-symptomatic and who have observed all government requirements during lock down. We reserve the right to ask you to take temperatures if we have concerns, please do not be offended.
• Should your situation change between booking a lesson and the lesson day, please notify us as soon as possible. Full lesson charge will be required if less than 24 hours notice.
• All riders should have their own hat, wear gloves and utilise hand sanitizer upon arrival.
• There will be no toilet facilities at present, but as the situation changes this will change.
• We request all payments are made via card or cash.
• Only one spectator per household.
• All lessons will be strictly coordinated to maintain social distancing.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your lesson and depart immediately afterwards.
• All lessons will be strictly risk assessed and kept it within the riders’ competence.
• There will be no jumping at present.
• As travelling horses is still regarded as unnecessary travel and could affect your insurance. No bookings will be taken for riders to bring their own horses to Ampfield at this time.
• By booking a lesson you have acknowledged that you have read and accepted these conditions.

WE APOLOGISE FOR ALL THE CONDITIONS WE HAVE PUT IN PLACE, BY DOING SO WE WILL BE CONFORMING TO GOVERNMENT RECOMMENDATIONS AND HOPEFULLY IN TURN PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND HELP TO PROTECT THE NHS.
